Learn how to use writing as a therapeutic tool!
All the answers you need are already inside you waiting to be drawn out!
Supporting professionals in the human services field is critical. We all need a place to explore, process and heal from the effects of the difficult work we do, while also growing and developing more resiliency.
Using writing as a therapeutic tool empowers people to find their own truths within.
So what is Therapeutic Writing anyway?
Writing therapy, sometimes called journal therapy, is a form of therapy that can be done by yourself or with someone else, including mental health therapists and trained professionals. It is a tool that promotes mental wellness, promotes personal and professional growth, and can be used to explore thoughts too taboo to be spoken aloud.
Through the use of writing prompts and guided questions, together we can explore your thoughts, feelings and actions, in discussion following periods of writing.
